This live edge table has an elegant yet stable design. The tabletop is a beautiful piece of alligator juniper from southern New Mexico. The structure and shelf built entirely of cherry, held together with wooden pegs and dowels. No screws or nails were used in the construction.

This piece was inspired by travels in Japan. It’s held together entirely with wooden pegs - no screws, nails, or glue. It can be easily disassembled by pulling the pegs and then reassembled.

The design of this live edge display shelf was inspired by travels in Japan. Rectangular wedges hold the piece together, so there is no glue, screws, or nails. It can be easily disassembled and reassembled by simply removing or inserting the wedge shaped pegs. (12”W x 47”L x 37”H).
Dave is a former architect and teacher who’s been passionate about woodworking for as long as he can remember. He grew up in New Mexico and is back now after living away for quite some time. Over the years – and through his travels and time living abroad – he’s gathered design inspiration, which now shows up in his custom pieces. He also finds inspiration in nature, especially while hiking, exploring, and photographing the landscapes he loves.
